With the signing of Proclamation No. 50 declaring the 2017 List of Philippine Holidays, the Philippines will be having 8 long weekends come 2017.
Last August 16, Philippine President Duterte proclaimed the incoming holidays for 2017. The List of Philippine Holidays 2017 include the Regular Holidays and Special Holidays: both working and non-working.
Knowing the list of holidays will enable travelers and vacation goers to plan their 2017 vacation. This is beneficial to employees who need to request vacation leaves ahead of scheduled vacation dates.
What is the impact of the long weekends to us? Simply stated, long weekends provide more days for vacation without overusing your leave credits.
Also, knowing in advance the list of holidays and long weekends brought about by the holidays will help Piso Fare and Promo Fare aficionados get the best promo for their travels.
