There are times that a guest who need to travel has a special medical requirement; is pregnant or with a newly born baby. Sometimes also, minors need to travel without an adult company, thus, we are sharing Cebu Pacific Rules on the carriage of Pregnant Women, Infants, Minors and Guests needing special assistance in this post.
Providing information on the needed documents to obtain and notification time to the airline can make their flights to their desired destination less stressful and pressured.

Guests Needing Special Assistance
Carriage of guests requiring special assistance is subject to arrangement with Cebu Pacific Air at least 48 hours before the scheduled flight departure.
For select airports, the airline may charge minimal handling fee for the use of lifts. In cases like this, the airline should be informed at least 3 days before the scheduled flight. For more information, please contact the call center at (+63-2) 702 0888 or (+63-32) 230 8888.
Pregnant Women/Expectant Mothers
It is a policy of Cebu Pacific that pregnant women with gestation age of 34 weeks and above are required to present a medical certificate with note “Fit to travel” and signed by a Physician.
Except for flights to and from the United States, a pregnant woman must complete her travel within the validity period of the medical certificate which should be ten (10) days from date of issuance.
As for trips to or from the United States, the expectant mother is required to submit a medical certificate for her out bound travel only; in which the medical certificate must be dated within ten (10) days of the scheduled date of initial departure.
Three copies of the Passenger Handling Form has to be completely filled out and presented at the check-in counters.
Unaccompanied Minors
Children who are 7 years old and below will not be accepted for carriage unless they are accompanied by a person of at least 18 years of age.
Minors 7 years old and below 15 years old will be accepted only after the Passenger Handling Form is accomplished and submitted and the prescribed Unaccompanied Minor Handling Fee is paid.
For Filipino children travelling to a foreign country, please check the rules governing minor travel as issued by the Department of Social Welfare and Development.
For minors with foreign nationalities, please check the rules regarding travel of minors as issued by your respective governments.
Infants
Newly born babies below 8 days old will not be accepted for carriage. Infants between 8 days old and below 2 years of age not occupying a seat shall be charged a minimal handling fee.
Guests with Medical Case and Portable Oxygen Concentrators (POC)
Cebu Pacific allow carriage of guests with medical cases if they can provide the following documents properly filled out and accomplished
2) A Medical Certificate stating that the guest is “fit to travel” signed by the passenger’s personal physician.
The airline also permits the carriage of Portable Oxygen Concentrator (POC) and other battery-operated non-oxygen generating respiratory assistive devices such as nebulizers and ventilators for use inside the aircraft.
Nevertheless, the airline does not allow carriage of partially or completely filled oxygen tanks (cylinders/bottles) or liquid oxygen on board any aircraft.
The guest medical certificate requiring POC should also mention that the passenger is required to use respiratory assisted device on the flight duration.
Passengers flying with a respiratory assisted Device must check-in at least 2 hours prior to the scheduled flight and should present the POC or other assisted respiratory device and documents for inspection by a CEB check-in agent.
The Passenger Handling Form should be accomplished in 3 copies and presented to the counter upon check-in.
